Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival
For special moments of indulgence
Guests at the Stade Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival can expect cosy get-togethers in the open air, maritime flair at the Stadthafen and a wide range of culinary delights – the Hanseatic city is all about the art of brewing. It attracts visitors to the harbour to try some tasty treats for the palate and makes the hearts of gourmets beat faster.
First held in Stade in 2018, the Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival has since won over many fans and regulars. A large number of craft beer suppliers are represented and showcase creative beer varieties. In addition to the craft beer range, wines, cocktails and soft drinks are also served. Exquisite food creations, regional specialities, innovative delicacies and delicious snacks complete the selection at the Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival.
The event is organised in cooperation with Lampenfieber-Veranstaltungen and supported by Stadtwerke Stade.

Treats for the palate
At the Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival, the range of culinary suppliers and breweries is impressive. This year, there will be craft beer creations from northern Germany from the Elbe to the Weser. The ceremonial tapping of the keg at the opening of the event will take place at the Wildwuchs stand. This honour goes to the organic brewery from Hamburg because they have been there since the first year. New to the event this year are the Dachs brewery with its event van, the Balzbräu brewery presenting its craft beer creations and Lillebräu from Kiel and Westindian Flensburg from the coast. For hungry guests and hobby gourmets, crêpes and various pastries are available at the sweet front, while the savoury section offers burgers, tarte flambée, venison and cheese specialities, flame-grilled salmon and much more.
The opening with a ceremonial barrel tapping by Deputy Mayor Daniela Oswald will take place on Friday, 28 April at 3.00 pm at the Wildwuchs Brauwerk stand.

Dance into May on the Greundiek
On board the Greundiek on the quayside of the Stadthafen, people dance, party and swing into May 1st, a German tradition.
The party starts on 30 April at 8.30 pm. DJ Jips will keep the party going until 2 am with charts and dance music.
Campaign day – Stade in motion
While the Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival at Stade’s city harbour is all about culinary delights and unusual beer creations, the ‘Stade in motion’ day of action will take place in the alleyways of the historic town centre on Sunday, 4 May from noon to 5 pm. The focus will be on mobility and sport. Various businesses and clubs will be presenting themselves and inviting visitors to explore and experience. There will also be plenty of shopping opportunities in the city centre on open Sunday.
At the Pferdemarkt and on the Am Sande square, guests can expect a variety of both modern and historical motorised collector’s items on two or four wheels. There is a test station for a range of different bike models at the Radhafen. The SUP Club Stade will also be there with its water sports programme at the Holzhafen harbour. Those interested in yoga will enjoy an exchange with Stade yogis and a yoga try-out session at Omnia in Poststraße.
The shops in Stade’s old town centre will be open from noon to 5 pm on Sunday. At 2 pm, Laden No. 10 and Liberty Woman from Holzstraße will be organising an open-air fashion show in front of their shops. You can meet magician Roberto at various locations in the historic town centre and there will be a number of musical performances by street artists for you to watch. You can also find the Stade Sofa from Stade aktuell in the city centre during the Sunday shopping event. Street musicians will be performing at the Fischmarkt, on Bürgermeister-Dabelow-Platz, in Holzstraße and in Große Schmiedestraße. The music programme for the ‘Stade in motion’ campaign day was organised with the support of Stade aktuell.
Car show at Am Sande square
Twice a year, the car-show at Am Sande square is part of the regular programme on Sundays when the shops are open. This time, the following car dealers will be presenting their latest models:
