Youth centre and event location
The ‘Alter Schlachthof’ has existed in Stade for over 40 years. The youth centre sees itself as a recreational and cultural hub for the young in years and at heart.
Since 2016, the Alte Schlachthof has increased the range of cultural offers with a focus beyond the confines of the city.
Courses and workshops for children and young people are complemented by a diverse cultural programme. Concerts, theatre performances, movie nights, flea markets and other events take place on the regular.

The Alter Schlachthof is located in Freiburger Straße opposite the entrance to the Kaufland car park.
From Hansetraße, drive into Freiburger Straße and after approx. 200 metres you will reach the entrance to the Alter Schlachthof youth and event centre on the right.
