Day trips from Stade
Through the region on two wheels
Stade and the surrounding area are ideal for day trips by bike. The region is particularly exciting due to its unrivalled variety of landscapes. Dykes, moorland, Geest (coastal sandy heathland), woodland and large orchards are closer together here than anywhere else. These scenic gems can be optimally combined on your own or on a guided cycle tour. The Elbe cycle touring bus provides interim relaxation.
A new cycle map for Stade and the region was launched in May 2024. It shows the most beautiful circular tours starting and finishing in Stade. The map is available at the tourist information office at the harbour and can be purchased online in our souvenir shop. Here you will also find all the details on the six circular tours as well as GPX files for navigation during the tour.
