The new motorhome site at the Solemio pool completes the varied camping trio in Stade. In addition to the historic town centre and nature at Schiffertor and the romance of the fortress with a view of the Elbe at the Grauerort site, the motorhome site at Solemio also offers water fun and wellness.
The new motorhome site was created directly at the Solemio adventure and saltwater pool, so that guests can easily combine their motorhome holiday with a well deserved dose of wellness. If you’re looking for an adventure outside of the typical calm and relaxing motorhome experience, the Solemio is also a perfect choice. And even better: every overnight stay booked on the motorhome site at Solemio comes with a free 5-euro voucher for the swimming pool.

Leave the B73 federal road at the exit to the Solemio and follow the signs to the city centre. At the first junction, turn into Sachsenstraße and then follow the signs to the car park in Salinenweg.

Construction work is taking place in the area of Harsefelder Straße in the immediate vicinity of the motorhome parking area. Access to the motorhome site in Salinenweg is currently not affected and is possible from both Harsefelder Straße and Harburger Straße.
The motorhome site at Solemio is open.
The site on Salinenweg can only be accessed via Sachsenstraße. Due to ongoing roadworks on Harburger Straße and Harsefelder Straße, we recommend approaching Sachsenstraße from the B 73 via Harsefelder Straße and from the city centre via Harburger Straße. This will allow you to bypass both construction sites. The roadworks mentioned above do not cause any disruption at the motorhome site itself, as they are out of hearing distance.
For your arrival from Monday, 8 April 2024, please note that it will not be possible to access Sachsenstraße from Harsefelder Straße for a longer period of time due to construction work. Please use Sachsenstraße from the direction of Harburger Straße to reach the car park on Salinenweg.
In the summer months, the Solemio provides relaxation in the sauna, water sports and action in the neighbouring lido. The lido is closed for the winter until 15 May 2024. The adventure pool’s sanitary facilities will be available to motorhome guests as usual, and registration for the motorhome pitch will continue to take place at the Solemio ticket office. The Solemio voucher, which is included with your stay, can be redeemed for a visit to the sauna or outdoor pool.

The Solemio
Fun and leisure meet wellness and relaxation in the adventure and saltwater pool.
Guests are invited to relax in the saltwater pool and sauna area, while an oasis of tranquillity with an additional sauna garden awaits all those in need of relaxation.
A sports pool and an adventure pool tempt you to splash around and enjoy sporty sessions on holiday. Special highlights for water enthusiasts include a large water slide, a small lazy river and numerous little surprises in the adventure pool.
The Solemio lido opens its gates in the summer months. With spacious green areas for sunbathing, a volleyball court for summer sports enthusiasts, a playground for younger guests and diving platforms for the particularly brave, not a dull day goes by.
Whether you had a day full of adventure or spent it relaxing and unwinding, a visit to the Solemio bistro is always a good idea. Delicious meals and snacks fill empty bellies after a visit to the fun and wellness area. Here you can eat with a view of the pool even without having to go swimming.
Stade's historic town centre
The motorhome site is located just two kilometres from Stade’s city centre in a quiet side street, surrounded by residential buildings on one side and the VfL Güldenstern sports ground on the other. Only a few steps separate guests from wellness and water fun in Stade’s popular outdoor and indoor swimming pool.
Stade’s historic town centre with its pretty half-timbered buildings and maritime flair is just a few minutes away by bike or on foot. Small shops, cafés and restaurants await you.
Close to the city centre, but still on the outskirts, the motorhome site at Solemio offers numerous excursion destinations and activities.

Good to know
The motorhome site is generally open all year round.
Exceptions are possible when the Solemio is closed. The site is then also closed. Current information on the opening hours of the Solemio can be found here.
Arrivals and departures between 10 pm and 6 am are not permitted.
It is not possible to reserve a parking space at the Solemio in advance.
Tickets for your stay are available at the Solemio ticket office. You can also extend your stay there.
If the site is full, the motorhome site at Schiffertor offers a nearby alternative close to the historic town centre. If you prefer to stay in the countryside, the motorhome site at Grauerort Fortress will be happy to welcome you.
Dogs are very welcome on the motorhome pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the entire campsite.
The motorhome site is only for motorhomes, not for caravans.
