Grill & Float on the Burggraben
There is space for up to 10 people in the small, circular boat, which is powered by an environmentally friendly electric motor. The integrated charcoal grill perfects the adventure on the water.
While food is roasting on the on-board barbeque and the cheerful group sits together in a cosy atmosphere, the enchanting landscape of the Burggraben shore passes by. The fully equipped “BBQ-Donut” offers all passengers plenty of space and storage room for food, drinks and personal items.
Whether for a company party, stag or hen do, family outing or a trip with friends: With the “BBQ-Donut”, every boat trip becomes a special experience with plenty of fun.
The “BBQ-Donut” is available for hire at the SUP Club Stade.
All hands on deck
The “BBQ-Donut” has an electric motor with less than 5 PS and can and may therefore be driven by any adult (aged 18 or over). Anyone may pilot the craft after a short instruction. A boating licence is not required. The trip begins with a safety briefing and a short driving test.
The “BBQ-Donut” has a table with space for plates. Depending on the package you opt for, cutlery, plates and cups are either included in the barbecue set (*full* package) or you have to bring your own (*hot* or *cold* packages). The grill is prepared and is hot and ready to use at departure (for the *hot* or *full* offer; for the *cold* offer, there is a large ice bucket in the centre of the BBQ-donut instead of the grill).
The start and finish of all trips is the “StadeBeach” at the Holzhafen (SUP Club Stade, Salztorswall 8). Car parking is also available here. The walk from Stade railway station takes about 10 minutes. By arrangement, another jetty at the Burggraben can be chosen as the starting point for an additional charge.

BBQ-Donut “3 for 2”
Every Monday to Thursday you can enjoy three hours of BBQ experience for the price of two. On these days you can choose to depart at 2:30 p.m. or 6 p.m.
Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, two- or three-hour trips can be made at 12 noon and 6:30 p.m. and two-hour trips at 4 p.m.
Booking season
The BBQ donut can be booked from May to September from Wednesday to Sunday.

Good to know
- Drinks for the trip may be brought along or can be bought on site from the drinks menu. Pre-ordering is not required.
Food must be provided by the group. - The “BBQ-Donut” has a seating capacity of 10, with one person being the driver (unfortunately there is no table space provided for them).
- Children under the age of 14 are required to wear a life jacket, which is part of the provided equipment.
- The tour takes place in all weathers, except in heavy rain, thunderstorms, storms, etc. If the tour does not take place due to the weather, an alternative date can be arranged.
- A deposit of € 100 must be paid in cash before departure.
- Cancellation of the tour is possible up to 2 hours before departure for a cancellation fee of € 50, after which the full amount is due.
- Dogs are not allowed on the BBQ donut.
- ATTENTION: For safety reasons, the “BBQ-Donut” is no longer be equipped with an umbrella.
