Destinations

As soon as you have left the city limits of Stade behind you, you are sure to be enchanted by the many destinations in the surrounding area. The Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Bremen as well as the harbour towns of Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven are ideal for a day trip in the area. Just a stone’s throw away, on the opposite side of the river Elbe and accessible by ferry from Wischhafen, is the enchanting little town of Glückstadt. In the Teufelsmoor, relaxing idylls await in the vast green countryside and the artists’ village of Worpswede. The historic Moorexpress, the Elbe ferries or a bicycle will take you there in no time at all.
