Stade Altstadtfest

Every year in June, the Stade Altstadtfest invites you to an eventful weekend: Live entertainment on different stages in the streets of the historic town centre until late into the night, good vibes and conviviality as well as a wide range of culinary delights against a magnificent backdrop.
The spectacle on stage is rounded off by a varied family programme, ranging from a Punch and Judy show to an arts and crafts market and an open-air church service. Shopping fans get their money’s worth on Thursdays at the traditional “Hökern und Handeln” (haggling and bargaining), where you can haggle like in Hanseatic times, and enjoy the Sunday sales to the full at the end of the weekend.
