Hearing Without Barriers
Barrier-free hearing on our guided city tours
A city tour through the old town streets of the Hanseatic city of Stade is a pleasure for everyone. Therefore, we offer accessible tours for the hearing impaired, hearing aid users and cochlear implant users.
Groups can request the neccessary hearing technology for their arranged guided tour which is provided in co-operation with the association Hören ohne Barriere e. V. (Hearing without Barriers). In addition, public guided tours that are offered under the title “Better Hearing for All” can be booked by individuals.
When using the transmission system, the words of the city guide are transmitted directly to the hearing aid or cochlear implant by means of a neck loop. Hearing impaired people without hearing aids or implants can use headphones. Please let us know in advance how many people will need which kind of hearing assistance.
