"Nette Toilette" – Public lavatories

Together with local food service establishments in Stade’s city centre, the Hanseatic city of Stade offers an additional service for guests and locals: Selected businesses are making their bathrooms available to the public free of charge. This means that, in addition to the public toilets, there are further well-equipped toilets available in the town centre.

The sticker with the ‘OO face’ at the entrance of the participating businesses indicates that you will find a ‘Nette Toilette’ there. These bathrooms are available during the regular opening hours of the respective businesses.

In addition, there are public toilets at the following locations: Wasser West, Hansestraße, Rathaus, Seminarstraße, Am Sande, Am Bahnhof, Erleninsel.

A flyer with a map, which is also available at the tourist information centre at the harbour, in the town hall and at all participating businesses, provides information about the locations of the toilets.
