Grand opening with the German Wine Queen
The ceremonial opening of the Stade Wine Festival will take place on Thursday at 6 pm in the presence of the 75th German Wine Queen Eva Brockmann.
Eva Brockmann is a winegrower, comes from a wine-growing region in Franconia and is representing the German winegrowers this year. As German Wine Queen, it is her task to convince experts and consumers at home and abroad of the quality, diversity and uniqueness of the wines from the German wine regions with her expertise and wine knowledge. She is particularly committed to keeping up with current trends in the wine industry, such as the qualitative development of non-alcoholic wines.
During an internship at Winery Giegerich in Franconia, Eva Brockmann discovered her love for grape juices at the age of 16 and began her bachelor’s degree in oenology soon after completing her training as a winemaker. “For me, wine is enjoyment, a cultural asset, regionality and a way of life,” says the wine queen.
