One gift card, countless possibilities: The City Voucher can now be redeemed at around 70 businesses in the retail, catering and service sectors. From bookshops, services, leisure activities, catering, health and culture to fashion, a wide range of sectors are represented. Companies have the opportunity to give their employees a small gift in the form of tax-free non-cash benefits. Creating incentives, increasing motivation and boosting the satisfaction of colleagues is the goal of City Voucher for employers. At the same time, City Vouchers help to promote the City’s economy and support participating businesses. Unlike the regular City Voucher, the City Voucher for Employers is rechargeable and the amount can be individually selected before every top-up.
Tax-free non-cash benefits - a win-win situation
The monthly upper limit for tax-free non-cash benefits is now €50 per employee. In addition to the salary, the employer gifts an additional €50 in the form of a City Voucher. This amount reaches the employee in full without any tax or social security contributions.
At the same time, a tax-free non-cash benefit can also be an alternative to a traditional salary increase. The advantage is that the employer pays less, but the employee receives more money at the same time.
