In the midst of the festive pre-Christmas season, the new ice rink invites you to enjoy unforgettable moments on the ice. Surrounded by the scenic view of the historic Hansehafen harbour, a winter wonderland of stalls and an ice rink will bring a smile to the faces of young and old alike. Gliding over the sparkling surface, while the scent of roasted almonds and piping hot mulled wine fills the air…
The small but charming ice rink welcomes visitors from Monday 25 November and provides the perfect setting for a winter outing with family, friends or as a school class. The ‘Hafen-Weihnacht’ Christmas market invites you to enjoy a bite to eat at the cosy stalls after your time on the ice.
The ice rink is provided by STADE Marketing und Tourismus GmbH in cooperation with Stade Aktuell and the Sparkasse Stade-Altes Land.

Good to know
The ice rink is 60 square metres in size.
Skating frames are available for beginner skaters.
The ice rink is open daily from 25 November to 27 December.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 10 am to 8 pm
Saturday: 11 am to 9 pm
Sunday: 12 noon to 8 pm
A skating session lasts 60 minutes. All times until 6 pm are reserved for children aged 3 to 12. Older teenagers and adults get the chance to take to the ice from 6 pm onwards.
Advance booking is recommended. You can book online or during opening hours at the tourist information office at the harbour or call 04141-776980.
Up to 15 people are allowed on the ice at the same time.
Skates can be rented on site. Larger groups must let us know in advance the shoe sizes and number of skates they will need.
You are welcome to bring your own skates, provided they are sharpened.
