The Krautsand tour is around 70 kilometres long and leads from Stade, first along the Elbe towards the North Sea and, after a comfortable stop for refreshments on the white sandy beach on Krautsand, in a wide arc back to Stade. Along the way, nature reserves, churches, the Grauerort fortress and a barrage offer marvellous views and photo opportunities.
