The 22-kilometre discovery tour “Die kleine Stade-Runde” (The Short Stade Route) on two wheels is far away from major roads and only has an easy 80 metres of elevation gain to overcome. The versatile tour allows you to experience natural highlights such as the Horstsee lake, the green areas of the Ottenbeck forest and pasture landscape, the Schwingetal paddle area along the Schwedenschanze, the island, the ramparts and the Stade harbours. The route passes through various districts of Stade and also touches on the Barger Heide nature reserve and the Schwarze Berg mountain.
