Poetry and meditation in Rüstjer Forest
Forest bathing has become an increasingly popular pastime in recent years. The trend is taken up in the nature experience Forest of Poets and complemented with elements of lyric poetry.
A certified forest bathing trainer leads through various exercises designed to increase mindfulness and help the group to slow down.
In the forest, participants reflect on the role of trees in literature, exploring the connection between the woods and literature from a new perspective. To kick off the literary portion of the programme, a certified forest pedagogue recites various poems centred around the relationship between humans and the forest.
