Rembrandt van Rijn was a gifted artist whose works have fascinated and inspired people for over four hundred years. The Kunsthaus Stade is now showing etchings from a Dutch private collection that have never been presented to the public before.
The guided tour first takes you on a tour of Stade’s historic town centre to discover Rembrandt’s creative period and its connections to the Hanseatic city and then, after a light refreshment in the Pannekokenhus, leads you through the Rembrandt exhibition in the Kunsthaus.
You can join a public guided tour or book a group tour at a time of your choice. Duration: 90 minutes in total.

In ice stock sport, the athletic highlight from the far north, participants have the chance to prove their skill on the ice and vie for victory in heated competitions.
From 25 November to 27 December, time slots can be booked daily from 1 pm.

The afternoon begins with a “Sünna Klaas” guided Christmas tour through the picturesque historic town centre of Stade. Listen to exciting stories and anecdotes all about Christmas time in Stade. This popular Christmas classic immerses the guests in the Christmas traditions of past generations as they stroll through the festively decorated streets of the historic town centre.
The guided tours take place on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the Christmas period. Duration: 90 minutes.
